These Terms of Use govern your access and use of the SWAS TASKS website, mobile platforms, and services (“the Platform”). By creating an account or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
To use SWAS TASKS, you must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Provide accurate account information
- Use the Platform legally and responsibly
2. User Accounts
By creating an account, you agree to:
- Keep your login details confidential
- Not create multiple or fake accounts
- Not impersonate any person or entity
- Take full responsibility for all actions under your account
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any account that violates these Terms.
3. Activation Fee (Non-Refundable)
To activate your SWAS TASKS account, you are required to pay an activation fee of KES 50.
This fee is strictly non-refundable, regardless of whether:
- You get tasks or not
- You stop using the Platform
- Your account is suspended for violating the Terms
The activation fee helps maintain and improve the Platform’s services and user verification systems.
4. Posting Tasks (For Clients)
Task owners must:
- Clearly describe the work required
- Provide legal, genuine, and non-exploitative tasks
- Pay the agreed amount after task completion
- Not deceive, underpay, or misuse workers
Posting illegal or harmful tasks is strictly prohibited.
5. Working on Tasks (For Workers)
Workers agree to:
- Complete tasks honestly and professionally
- Deliver original, quality work
- Follow instructions provided by the client
- Not engage in plagiarism, fraud, or misuse of the Platform
6. Payments & Withdrawals
- Payments are released only after the client approves submitted work
- SWAS TASKS may charge service or withdrawal fees
- Withdrawal methods may include M-PESA, bank transfer, or other approved channels
- Any earnings obtained fraudulently will not be released
7. Prohibited Activities
Users must NOT:
- Post illegal, harmful, or misleading content
- Use bots, automation, or fake accounts
- Scam, deceive, or extort other users
- Attempt phishing, hacking, or malware distribution
- Harass, abuse, or threaten users or staff
Any such actions may result in immediate account termination.
8. Disputes & Resolution
If a dispute occurs:
- The user should first attempt to resolve the issue directly with the other party
- If unresolved, SWAS TASKS may step in as a neutral mediator
- SWAS TASKS’ decision will be final and binding
9. Account Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or permanently terminate accounts that:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraud or suspicious activities
- Abuse the Platform or other users
- Pose security risks
Suspended or terminated accounts will not receive refunds.
10. Limitation of Liability
SWAS TASKS is not liable for:
- Loss of income or business opportunities
- Delayed payments or technical failures
- Disputes between users
- Issues caused by third-party systems (e.g., M-PESA, banks)
Use of the Platform is at your own risk.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
