REFUND POLICY

This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which payments made on SWAS TASKS may or may not be refunded. By using the Platform, you agree to this policy.
1. Activation Fee (Strictly Non-Refundable)
The KES 50 account activation fee is strictly non-refundable under all circumstances, including but not limited to:
- You do not receive tasks
- You stop using the Platform
- You request a refund for any reason
- Your account is suspended or terminated for violating the Terms of Use
This fee covers verification, system maintenance, and service sustainability.
2. Task Payments (For Clients)
Payments made by clients for posted tasks are only refundable if:
- The client cancels the task before a worker starts work
- There is a verified system error that caused an incorrect charge
Payments cannot be refunded if:
- A worker has already completed or started working on the task
- The client changes their mind after assigning the task
- The client is dissatisfied due to unclear instructions they provided
3. Task Earnings (For Workers)
Workers’ earnings are not refundable once:
- The client approves the work
- Payment has been released to the worker
- The worker has already withdrawn the funds
If work is rejected for violating rules (fraud, plagiarism, etc.), the worker forfeits payment.
4. Service Fees
Any service, transaction, or withdrawal fees charged by SWAS TASKS are:
- Non-refundable
- Automatically deducted from user balances
- Subject to change with notice
5. System Errors or Duplicate Payments
Refunds may be issued ONLY in cases of:
- Duplicate charges
- Verified technical errors
- Failed transactions where funds were deducted but not credited
Users must report such issues within 72 hours for investigation.
6. Dispute-Related Refunds
In case of disputes:
- Users must first try to resolve the issue with the other party
- If unresolved, SWAS TASKS may intervene
- SWAS TASKS’ final decision may include partial, full, or no refund
Refunds during disputes are NOT guaranteed.
7. Processing Time
Approved refunds (except activation fees) will be processed within:
- 1–7 business days for M-PESA
- 3–10 business days for bank transfers
(Processing times depend on your provider.)
8. No Cash Refunds
All refunds are returned through the same payment method used.
We do not offer:
- Cash refunds
- Manual payouts
- Transfers to third-party numbers or accounts
9. Policy Changes
SWAS TASKS may update this Refund Policy at any time. Continued use of the Platform means you accept any updates.
